Ben Pritchard joins Invennt as a consultant

BenPritchard4-2015Ben Pritchard has recently joined Invennt as Consultant.
Ben joins invent from Magnox Ltd where as a Framework manager in the Nuclear Decommissioning sector he led the procurement and commercial management of a range of frameworks and projects covering demolition, new construction, refurbishment and retrieval, processing and conditioning of waste.
This is great news for Ben and Invennt and expands Invennts offering to now include a more hands on procurement, collaboration and commercial support service, and it provides Ben the platform to take his passion for doing things in a better way to a wider audience.
Wanting to see the construction industry improve had led Ben to be the current national co-chair for G4C and with that a place on the Constructing Excellence board of management. Within these organsiations Ben is involved in a number of initiatives aimed at improving the industry in particular the industry’s image and adoption of technology within the industry.
He says ‘Joining Invennt is a great opportunity to take what I’ve learnt from my involvement with Constructing Excellence, G4C, The Construction Client Group and my work at Magnox and drive improvement within construction. Invennt are providing a platform to really be able to drive forward with the message that there is a better way to procure, a better way to engage with the supply chain and a better way to ensure value is gained from your assets.’
A big advocate for collaborative working, Ben believes that setting up a project right at the start is crucial to its success. The decisions made in how a project is procured can be so important to its success and is so often overlooked or not appreciated properly for the value that it can bring.
Being able to see the ‘bigger picture’ Ben brings a viewpoint and enthusiasm that puts value at the heart of procurement ensuring that the whole supply chain is given an opportunity to maximize their return and a project has the foundations in place to succeed.
You can contact Ben direct on 07961071166 or at Ben will also be joining Associate Steve Lett in Invennt’s new London office at 32 Bloomsbury Street.
