Brendan is an experienced construction project and business leader and therefore knows how value is created.
Construction can be a force for good because it creates economic, environmental and social value. Brendan advises clients of construction and businesses across the supply chain to unlock this value by:
- analysing performance
- coaching improvement
- developing leadership
“The capture and intelligent use of data is key to drive success”.
His goal is to ensure the businesses, the people in the businesses and society at large succeeds.
“A strong construction sector is the heart of a strong nation”.
As MD of Taylor Woodrow/Vinci Infrastructure, he led teams turning over £400m a year. As Executive Board Director, Brendan led a focus on value rather than volume consequently leading to more successful tendering performance. He integrated a number of acquisitions and led the successful pursuit of BAA’s 10-year £6.9bn capital framework.
He is committed to collaboration and long-term business relationships because he knows what can make, or break, a successful business.
Brendan has worked with a number of “blue chip” companies and SMEs. The size of the business does not matter to him; what matters is the capability and enthusiasm of the people in the businesses.
“If you have great people, committed to a clear objective, you can create value for everyone”.
Brendan is a Fellow of the CIOB, an occasional lecturer at King’s College London and a Foundation Governor of Salvatorian College. Involvement with these organisations ensures that Brendan’s business interests align with society.
“Education and learning are important for self-development, which leads to the development of a progressive society”.
