Dublin, Ireland, – January 2020 – Invennt, the leading specialist business consultancy for construction, has announced its sponsorship of Team Ireland Paralympic cyclist Katie-George Dunlevy.
The vision impaired athlete competes in tandem events and is the current world champion and Paralympic champion in the time trial. Born in the UK, Katie-George chose to compete for Ireland as a consequence of her Irish roots and on January 30 to February 2, she will compete at the Para-cycling Track World Championships in Milton, Canada with pilot Eve McCrystal.
Much like Katie-George, Invennt was born in the UK, but has always had a strong connection to Ireland via director and co-founder, Brendan Morahan, cementing the already strong connection by establishing a local office in the country in January 2019. Invennt also has a strong presence in Canada and with its
Toronto based subsidiary officially partnered with the Canadian Construction Association business is booming. With so many similarities, it is no wonder the team at Invennt stand four square behind Katie-George.
Invennt is a strong supporter of the sporting community and has existing sponsorship commitments with a number of other sports teams including sailing and football. The business has long championed the sharing of best practice across sectors and disciplines is excited to strengthen this commitment with its most recent sponsorship arrangement.
“Invennt is passionate about promoting sporting excellence as it is about promoting construction” said Brendan Morahan, Invennt director and co-founder. “Those of us operating in construction and the built environment have much to learn from the world of competitive sports, including performance management techniques such as goal setting and the marginal gains that are transferrable.”
